Cry of the youth of the Church

Ok, in my definition (sorry if it disappoints), blogs are not made for any kind of inspirational happy writtings. It's purely for my venting purposes only. And, by the by, this post wil also be on my myspace, so don't bother reading it there in a week when it comes out on there.

I recently cut my bangs, and died my hair deep brown/soft black and teal. After this is begain to feel intense rejection from the previous generation above me. Now, why all the sudden would this occur? I'm not pointing fingers at a parent of pastor of mine, but I do think this "subconcious" sin of theirs needs to stop distroying my generation.
We've all heard lots of sermons on fatherlessness today (at least I have). But are we thinking about it? I just think about things al the time, I understand that, but maybe the complacent church aught to start thinking about things once in a while so we can repent and seek God's face and intercede to this world gone awry. You wanna know why this is a fatherless generation? Because the generation of our parents continually rejects us. We have different music, different hair, diferent worship style, diferent in almost every thing ... Except for feelings, and the real need for loving leadership! What is wrong with you, baby boomers! What's wrong with you, hippie kids! These are your children! We need mentorship! Stop being so afraid of us that you can't love and accept us! We need your guidence and correction at times, but we won't get it you continually alienate us! Believe in us! This is an army rising! What you do in moderation, we take to the extreme, but that can be a good thing! Teach us the way to go, encourage our creativity and innovation. Remind us of our heritage and history, so we can honor those who have gone before and learn from the past. God is doing something new, and He's not done with you! You have a part to play in our lives. Until we are united we can not see the kingdom of God here on this earth. The hearts of the fathers must turn to the children, and the hearts of the children to the fathers! We can't keep on playing youth culture vs. big church! WE ALL ARE THE CHURCH, THE BODY OF CHRIST! When will we repent of our sins, stand together, and see His Kingdom come?
